Shirgao Sports Club shocked Politics CC Khorlim, Mapusa by 16 runs in the 'A' Division league cricket tournament organised by Goa Cricket Association at PCA grounds, on Tuesday. Batting first, Shirgao were bowled out for 130 runs in 34.4 overs as Amar Ghadi smashed 52 runs, while Sanjay Naik contributed 22. For Politics CC, Sayed Khalid was the chief tormentor as he scalped 4 for 7. In reply, Politics CC were bowled out at 114 in 36.3 overs. Yeshwant Barde's half century went in vain after Sanjay Naik turned out to be the wrecker-in-chief for the winners as he captured 3 for 36 while Saroj Kumar was the other bowler who took 2 for 12.
