Cultural talent search scholarship
PANAJI: Applications are invited from eligible children for the cultural talent search scholarship scheme of the center for cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) New Delhi under the Ministry of Culture, GoI. The scheme provide facilities to young children artists in the age group of 10 to 14 years for developing their talent in music, drama, painting, sculpture, crafts.
The number of scholarships awarded for 2016-17 is 650, of which 100 are reserved for tribal students, 125 for children of families practicing traditional performing arts and 20 for specially challenged children. The remaining will be treated as general category. The application forms and details may be obtained from the Directorate of Art and Culture Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji by December 30, and forms should be submitted by December 31.
