The feast of St Joseph Vaz, the patron of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman, will be celebrated at Sancoale Sanctuary at Sancoale on January 16.
Novenas will begin on January 7. Masses during the novena days will be at 6 am, 7.30 am, 9.15 am and evening masses will be at 4 pm and 6 pm. The 6 pm mass will be in English. On January 10, masses will be at 6 am, 7.15 am, and 9.15 am and at 4 pm and 6 pm.
Day of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be held on January 8, from 10 am to 3.30 pm (silent adoration).
There will a special mass for the sick on January 10, at 9.15 am. The sick should be present at 8.30 am. A night vigil will also be conducted on January 10 starting at 10 pm.
A retreat will be conducted on January 12, from 10 am to 3 pm. Childless couples are requested to participate in the retreat.
Inter-faith meet will be held on January 14, at 10.30 am.
On January 16, the feast day, masses will be at 5 am, 6 am, 7 am, 8 am and 4 pm and 5.30 pm. The Concelebrated Solemn Mass will be at 10 am. Archbishop-Patriarch Felipe Neri Ferrao will be the main celebrant. A mass at the Paternal House of St Joseph Vaz will be held at noon.
