MAPUSA
Mapusa Police arrested a resident of Mapusa for theft on Tuesday. According to the police, the accused, Ranbha Naik of Xelpem, Duler managed to dismantle and remove metal sheets from the roof of the owner, Alex Rodrigues’ garage at Ansabhatt, Mapusa and was in the process of taking them away.
Unfortunately for him, the owner arrived and caught him red-handed in the act, and later handed him over to the police.
The accused was arrested for theft under Section 379 IPC.
Mapusa police is investigating further.
