Wilred Leisure Sports Club, Curtorim scored a 4-2 win over Union of Chinchinim Villagers to book their place in the quarter-finals of Telaulim Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organized by United Club of Telaulim at Telaulim Panchayat grounds on Tuesday. Wilred Leisure led 1-0 at half time .
Wilred Leisure Sports Club dominated the game right from the word go and created many openings and in the 6th minute Jameson Noronha drew first blood.
Crossing over, Wilred Leisure continued to dictate terms and enjoyed the better share of exchanges.Sertorio Monteiro who played a stellar role struck in quick succession to give his team a 3-0 cushion. Casmiro Fernandes put the issue beyond doubt. Down by 0-4, Union of Chinchinim Villagers upped the ante and Jess Fernandes scored a brace.
