Morjim man dies of accident injuries
PERNEM: A 65-year-old pedestrian from Agarwada-Morjim died after he was knocked down by a scooter near Government Primary School at Agarwada. The scooter rider has been arrested in this connection.
According to Pernem Police, Bhalchandra Damaji of Agarwade-Pernem was proceeding on his scooter (GA-03-K-1999) from Morjim to Agarwada on Monday when the scooter knocked down the pedestrian, Joao Paulo Rosario Rodrigues, near the Government Primary School at Agarwada.
Rodrigues sustained serious injury and later died while undergoing medical treatment at GMC Hospital in Bambolim. The accused has been arrested and police is investigating the case.
