Navelim Sporting club beat St Anthony SC Assolda 3-2 via tie-breaker to move into the finals of all Goa 23rd inter village Lourdes Festival Soccer organised by United Club of Utorda in association with Our Lady of Lourdes-Utordekars in UAE, at Utorda grounds.
Both teams dished out good soccer with short passing. Welson Fernandes and Agnes Vaz of St Anthony Assolda made some exciting moves at the goalmouth but could not get the better of the Navelim defenders. At the other end, Navelim's Bitu singh made several attempts to make inroads in the Assolda territory but had nothing to show for his efforts as the teams went into the break goalless.
