Tanisi Kirtani raised the level of her game when it mattered the most as she bagged triple crown at the All Goa BPS Open Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organized by BPS Sports Club at BPS Hall, Margao.
Tanisi justified her billing by whipping Prutha Parrikar to complete a hat-trick of titles winning 11-4, 11-3 and 11-6. She defeated Prutha Parikar 11-3, 11-4 and 11-3 to wrest the Junior girls title. She went on to beat Prutha 11-3, 11-5 and 11-1 to clinch the ladies crown.
Meanwhile Wesley Rosario bagged the double crown. He defeated Varun Gangodkar 11-4,11-9,11-8 to win the sub-junior title. Wesley Rosario beat Rutuj Sonwane 11-4, 11-5 and 11-9 to clinch the junior title.
Bhai Naik was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Donald Colaco, secretary of BPS Sports Club welcomed the gathering. Franksy Da Costa -Vice President of the Club proposed vote of thanks.
