PANAJIThe Annual General Body meeting of the Parent-Teachers Association of Cuncolim United Higher Secondary School was held recently in the Cuncolim Municipal hall, Cuncolim. The meeting began with a welcome address and thereafter, the presentation of the report on the academic achievements of the school, by Principal Mallika Bene. Kavendra Dessai, assistant engineer, Electricity Department and president of Shree Shantadurga Cuncolikarin Saunsthan, Fatorpa was the chief guest who spoke on the importance of the PTA body. Virendra Dessai, chairman of Cuncolim Educational Society and councillor of Cuncolim Municipal Council, promised his undue support in the functioning of the institution and providing the necessary infrastructure. Anthony Vales, secretary of the PTA, read the annual report and Hemant Sail, the treasurer, presented the details of the account for the financial year 2021-22, which was approved by the members present. A new executive committee was elected, comprising Rita A Prabhudessai (Chairperson), Shailesh V Ambe, Luizinha Dias, Vibha Bhat, Sarita Fal Dessai and Manasi S Prabhudessai.
