MES College gets smart interactive boards

MES College of Arts and Commerce, Zuarinagar recently inaugurated smart classroom boards into the teaching-learning process of the college. Nine such devices were procured as part of the ongoing 50 years golden jubilee of the college, which was a generous contribution from the Sathe family, USA.  The programme was attended by the chairman and former founding principal of the college, M S Kamat, vice-chairman and former Director of Higher Education, Bhaskar Nayak, vice-chairman, Paresh Joshi, members and family of the management, the team from Spaces, Pune - the suppliers of the smart boards, teaching faculty and invited guests. 

Speaking on the occasion, Nayak stressed the importance of adopting oneself to the needs of the time. Laitha Joshi, member of the management mentioned that the way education is imparted in the present day is rapidly changing. The hybrid model which is the present and future of higher education is here to stay. 

She also briefed the audience on the various measures that will enhance the learning experience of the students. 

M S Kamat lauded the initiative of the smart boards, mentioning the need for teachers to adapt themselves along with the present technology and deliver the best to the students. He also congratulated the newly-appointed Principal Dr Manasvi Kamat on the occasion. 

Dr Kamat lauded the measures and initiatives of the Murgaon Education Society and also expressed her happiness at the philanthropic contribution from the Sathe family, Lalitha Joshi's sister and brother-in-law who have settled in the USA.

The meeting concluded with the engineer from SPACES, explaining the various functions, features and technicalities of the smart boards much to the amazement and delight of the people present.
