The car which plummeted off the Manohar Parrikar Canacona Bypass highway just before the Talpona bridge

A car driver had a miraculous escape when the vehicle rammed into a roadside railing and plummeted off the Manohar Parrikar Canacona Bypass Highway at Tarir late Wednesday evening.
According to Canacona police, the car was proceeding from Margao and towards Galgibaga when it plummeted off the NH-66 Manohar Parrikar Canacona Bypass and narrowly missed landing in the river below.
The driver, who was the only occupant in the car, miraculously escaped without any injuries even though the car rammed into the roadside railing, plummeted off the bypass, went down the slop and turned turtle a few metres from the river.
The driver managed to get out of the vehicle and walked up to the Manohar Parrikar Canacona Bypass, where several motorists stopped by to render assistance to him, sources said.
