The Government College of Commerce and Economics, Borda-Margao is organizing an e-waste collection drive in association with ‘Karo Sambhav’ to make Borda toxic-material free. The campaign would be carried out between January 20-30 at the college premises from 9 am to 4 pm. CRT/LCD monitor, CPU, mouse, printers, laptops, mobile phones, power supplies/SMPs, graphic cards, computer UPS, routers, power cords, cable, chargers, adaptors, servers, cartridges, toners, desktops, webcams, headset earphones, DVD players, remote controls, cameras, pencil car batteries, stabilizer, mixers, microwaves, tube lights, bulbs, modems, induction boards, refrigerators, televisions, AC, washing machines and other household electronic appliances would be collected. The e-waste collected from the people will be sorted and stored, and later transported to the recycling partner. This e-waste would be responsibly recycled.
