A large number of youth took part in the cycle rally in Pernem, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs to mark National Youth Week.
The cycle rally was flagged off by GTDC Chairperson and Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte in the presence of Torsem ZP member Sima Khadpe, Dhargal ZP member Manohar Dhargalkar and sports official Sadanand Sawal Desai.
The cycle rally began from the Viscount High School and proceeded to the Tuem PHC, amemorial at Parcem and culminated at the sports complex at Sawalwaddo.
Meanwhile, a cleanliness drive will be organised on Sunday and volunteers will clean the Ambedkar garden, Mauli Mandir waterfalls, Tiracol fort and Patradevi memorial.
