GPCE conducts workshop on research writing

The ‘Research & Outreach Activities’ committee of HPSM’s Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, Harmal organised a workshop on ‘Research Writing: Research Methodology and Research Articles’ on January 27 for the faculties of its institute. Dr Mahesh S Majik, Associate Professor, Goa State Higher Education Council, Directorate of Higher Education was the resource person. Other dignitaries present for the workshop were Laxmikant Parsekar, Chairman- HPSM, Udesh Natekar, Principal- GPCOE and Dr Pradnyesh Satardekar, Convenor. The workshop was organised considering the New Education Policy 2020 which emphasises promoting research even at the undergraduate level. As per Dr Majik, the identification of a suitable research problem is the most important step for successful research. A good research problem can be identified simply by proper observations in our daily life or by referring to articles from reputed journals in one’s field of interest, Dr Majik said.
