In the silver jubilee year of service the Rotary Club of Panaji Midtown organised an all-Goa inter-school quiz competition – Final Glow Rotary Quiz Bowl Goa – supported by the Department of Education and SCERT Goa, the finals of which were held at Sala de Gaspar, Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias stage with Sanat Pai Raikar as the quiz master. Loyola High School, Margao represented by Dinesh Palekar, Manjunath Naik and David D’Cruz were declared winners of the Final Glow Rotary Quiz Bowl Goa 2022. The second place was won by Navy Children School, Dabolim represented by Nitin Panigrahi, Angad Singh and Grisha Singbal while Lourdes Convent High School, Saligao represented by Ethan Dias, Mishka Azavedo and Moses Fernandes took the third place.The other three teams that qualified for the finals were Dr K B Hedgewar High School, Cujira (Avaneesh Sawant, Pratyush Chodankar and Kapil Nerurkar), St Joseph’s Institute, Vasco (Mohammed Alam, Arohee Tari and Aditya Nayak) and Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School, Pilerne (Andrew Facho, Vedant Kamat and Anahata Vadji). 81 schools participated in the preliminary (written) rounds and the top six teams (top three from North Goa and top three from South Goa) qualified for the final round.
