The Rotary Club of Bicholim donated PPE kits, N95 masks and hand gloves to the frontline workers posted at the Covid Care Centre in Sarvan-Bicholim.
The consignment was handed over to Bicholim Mamlatdar Pravinjay Pandit in the presence of Mayem MLA Pravin Zantye and Incident Commander (Bicholim) Sanjeev Gadkar.
Meanwhile, North Goa Collector Ajit Roy inspected the Keshav Seva Sadhana Covid Care Centre cum Step Up Hospital Bicholim taluka in the presence of the Bicholim Mamlatdar.
The collector directed the mamlatdar to provide all amenities to Covid patients admitted at the centre.
There are 71 beds at the Covid Care Centre, of which 20 beds are allotted to the Step Up Hospital for Covid symptomatic patients and 51 beds for Covid asymptomatic patients.
