Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has extended his gratitude towards the great leader Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his Punyatithi and also extended his wishes to all Journalist Fraternity on this occasion. Sawant paying tributes to the noted freedom fighter and great leader Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his death anniversary recalled his contribution to the country. Chief Minister said, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, born as Keshav Gangadhar Tilak, was an Indian nationalist, teacher, and an independence activist. Tilak was the first leader of the Indian independence movement. I bow to the great Lokmanya Tilak. His thoughts and principles are more relevant than ever before in the present circumstances, when Indians and Goans have decided to build an ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat & Swayampurna Goa’ that is economically prosperous and socially progressive India, he added.
