The Library Committee, NDLI and Teaching Learning and Educational Technology Committee of Ganpat Parsekar College of Education organised a talk on 'Experiential Learning in the Classroom Teaching' for the teachers of the institution. Dr Vithal Tilve, Professor, Directorate of Higher Education, Porvorim was the resource person for the talk.
"Experiential learning is an effective way to generate knowledge and experience among students," Dr Tilve said in his talk. He demonstrated several experiments focussing on experiential learning and also shed light on the significance and necessity of experiential learning.
Pramod Kerkar, Librarian, Pandurang Pandit, Asst Professor in Methodology of Teaching Science, Kavitha Nair, Asst Professor in Zoology and Dr Durgesh Majik, Co-ordinator for the programme, attended the event. Pandit introduced the resource person. The programme was compered by Shalini Naik and the vote of thanks was delivered by Vishwesh Fatrekar.
