The Governor of Goa Bhagat Singh Koshyari has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Goa on the occasion of Durga Puja on October 22.
In his message, the Governor said, “Durga Puja is a very important festival celebrated in our country
with great enthusiasm and spiritual fervour. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil. It encourages greater cultural and social integrity which in turn promotes national unity. Such festive occasions serve as a vibrant medium for promoting mutual understanding, tolerance and friendship in our society”.
“May the celebrations of Durga Puja this year bring greater peace and happiness to one and all and strengthen the prevailing social and cultural harmony in our beautiful State and the nation as a whole”, the Governor concludes, according to Department of Information and Publicity.
