PANAJI: Green Ray Foundation, an organisation working for creating awareness to preserve environment among the students of schools and colleges will felicitate four Green Organisations namely Botanical Society of Goa, Association of Friends of Astronomy, NISARGA Nature Club and Youth Hostel Association of India - Goa State Branch in a function to be organised on July 4 at 5 pm at the Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panjim. On this occasion, prizes of the Poster Competition on environment will also be announced and distributed. In all, 73 artistes participated in the Poster Competition on the theme, “Only One Earth”. Pradip Sarmokadam, Member Secretary of Goa State Biodiversity Board will be the Chief Guest and do the honours of felicitating the Green Organisations and distributing the prizes for the winners. The function is organised in association with Institute Menezes Braganza and Rotary Club of Miramar and is open to the public.
