Deputy Chief Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar urged that one should protect oneself by taking maximum precautions like wearing mask and observing social distancing. He said the State haa witnessed many infected by Corona and therefore one should protect oneself while working. Ajgaonkar was speaking at the Seva hi Sangathana campaign held at Pernem taluka on the occasion of Goa Statehood Day and on the completion of seven years in office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Under the 'Seva Hi Sangathana' campaign, sanitization programme were conducted in Corona-affected areas in Pernem taluka. Ajgaonkar said that he has taken initiative under Seva hi Sangathana campaign to sanitize the Covid 19-hit area and had provided all his help to Corona patients in the area. Speaking on the occasion Ajgonkar stressed the need of the hour is to take maximum protection to save one's own life. Ajgaokar also handed over garbage carrying vehicle to the Pernem Municipality.Ajgaonkar listed various developmental projects in the Pernem area like Mopa Airport, hospital, bus stand, administrative building, playground, stadium, etc which will give facelift to Pernem and also generate employment opportunities. Usha Nagvekar, Chairperson, Seema Khadpe ZP Member were also present on the occasion.
