A 42-year-old woman from Cortalim died in a road mishap at the Cortalim junction.
According to sources in Verna Police, the woman, Nutan Raul, was involved in a road mishap and was moved to the Chikitsa Hospital at IDC Verna, where she was declared dead on arrival.
The body was later sent to the Hospicio Hospital for a post mortem and was handed over to family for final rites. Verna PSI Riyanka Naik is carrying out further investigation.
