The State government on Friday effected a bureaucratic reshuffle transferring seven Goa Civil Service officers and named current Director (Environment) Jhonson Fernandes as the new Director of Settlement and Land Records.
Fernandes' place at the head of the Environment Department will be taken by Dashrath M Redkar.
The order also places Santosh Kundaikar as Secretary, Goa Rehabilitation Board, Sushma Kamat as Director, State Lotteries and Arvind Khutkar as Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
Biju R Naik meanwhile is posted as Joint Secretary, General Administration Department and Gourish Kuttikar as Additional Collector–III, South Goa in Ponda.
Sanjiv Gadkar who is Administrator of the controversial Sanjivani Sakhar Karkhana Ltd has been bestowed additional charge of Special Land Acquisition officer for Mopa Airport.
Another officer Meena Goltekar, who is Project Director, DRDA South, has been directed to hold two additional charge positions -- as managing director of Goa State SC, OBC Finance Development Corporation besides Member Secretary, Goa State Commission for Backward Classes.
