PONDA
The Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party on Saturday launched its campaign for the municipal council and assembly elections by paying homage to Mahalasa Devi at Mardol.

MGP leaders, Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar, party president Deepak Dhavalikar, Sarpanch Pandurang Gawde of Veling-Priol Panchayat, ZP members Damodar Naik and Priya Chari, party workers and supporters were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudin Dhavalikar said the MGP would visit all villages to create awareness on why the MGP is relevant and needed for the State and why the BJP should be voted out of power.

Commenting on possibilities of forming an alliance in the forthcoming assembly elections, Dhavalikar said the MGP is ready to forge an alliance with like-minded parties but the big question was whether there is unity among those like-minded parties.

MGP President Deepak Dhavalikar hinted that a change is needed in the State and said a Parivartan Yatra will be organised by the MGP.

“The MGP will come out in full force in the coming elections in the interest of Goa and Goans,” he said.
