With just five members attending the meeting, the gram sabha of the Rumdamol village on Sunday ended within minutes.
The meeting chaired by Administrator Pradeep Tamankar saw just around five members turning up for the meeting, forcing the Chair to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting resumed after the mandatory period, and transacted the business on the agenda, including passing of the budget estimates and formation of panels.
Since there was no other point on the agenda, the meeting ended within minutes.
The Rumdamol village Panchayat has been under the government-appointed Administrator for months now, with no end in sight to the inquiry into the petitions seeking disqualification of four panchayat members.
