Hotel Landmark, a boutique hotel by Vishwanath Pai group of hotels, was inaugurated on Tuesday. Noted structural engineer Dilip Kulkarni and Avinash Potdar inaugurated the hotel in presence Vijaya Shanbhag and others.
The new hotel, designed by reputed architect Bakul Joshi, is located near Venugram hospital on the Khanapur road. It houses a restaurant, banquet hall, exquisitely designed rooms, suites and a terrace for hosting events.
In his introductory remarks, noted chartered accountant Abhay Pai briefed about the history of Pai group which started its journey in 1948. In his speech, Dilip Kulkarni reminisced about the long association with the Pai family, beginning with late Vishwanath Pai who was the pioneer in laying the foundation of Belagavi’s hotel industry.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Pai said the hotel has been designed and located for the comfortable and stay of Goans visiting Belagavi for shopping or weekend.
Avinash Potdar said the group has grown to enormous size in the hotel industry of Belagavi and has earned high reputation among customers in in Goa, Karnataka and South Maharashtra.
The Pai family felicitated all the associates, contractors, masons, designers and artists who contributed in the building of this new property, at the hands of Balkrishna Pai, Ashok Pai and Shripad Pai along with Ajay Pai and Vinay Pai.
