The Enough is Enough movement will hold a public meeting at Azad Maidan on May 30, Goa Statehood Day, to push its 10-point charter covering land, environment and governance issues.

Former chief justice of the Allahabad High Court, Ferdino Rebello, who is leading the campaign, said presidents of all political parties have been invited to attend and support the initiative.

“This is not about one group or one ideology. It is about protecting Goa’s future. We want everyone to stand together,” Rebello told The Goan.

The movement has already held meetings in every taluka since it was launched on January 6 in Panaji.

Organisers said the public meeting at Azad Maidan is expected to be the largest so far, bringing together people from across the State.

The 10-point charter calls for stricter land-use policies, stronger environmental protection measures and governance reforms to improve accountability.

Activists linked to the movement said unchecked development and poor enforcement have put Goa’s natural resources and local communities at risk.

Through the Statehood Day event, the movement hopes to bring its concerns into mainstream political discussion.

“We have spoken in villages and towns. Now we want to speak at the heart of Goa,” Rebello said.
