A youth from Andhra Pradesh has been arrested by Anjuna police on charges of possessing drugs valued at R 1 lakh.
According to reports, a police team led by PSI Sujay Korgaonkar conducted a raid at Grand Peddem, Anjuna, on Tuesday night and nabbed Mareddy Kumar Reddy (27), a native of Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh, but residing at Grand Peddem, Anjuna, in possession of 1 kg of ganja, valued at Rs 1 lakh.
The accused has been arrested under the NDPS Act and further investigation is in progress by PSI Korgaonkar under the supervision of the Anjuna police inspector Suraj Gawas.
