Stating that auction of minerals is not a solution for the development of minerals, the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries has once again given a representation to the central government stating that auction of minerals has not resolved the minerals production issue.
In fact it has created an adverse effect on the prices of minerals. Steel prices in India are higher than other countries, FIMI managing committee member Haresh Melwani said.
