MARGAO
Endorsing the views of Keralam Governor Rajendra Arlekar on educated youngsters in politics, Goa Forward Chief Vijai Sardesai said the governor has made the statement considering the issues plaguing the BJP legislators in Goa.
Commenting on Arlekar’s statement, Sardesai said the Keralam governor, hailing from Goa, knows the backdrop of the BJP legislators in Goa, as they were mere rubber stamps.
“Some of these BJP legislators have won the elections through mere slogans. Education is important. With education comes foresight and vision. These things are important to take the state forward”, he said.
In the case of BJP, they come to win and then loot and plunder by indulging in corrupt practices.
"When youngsters do not get the jobs and employment, they bat for new outfits such as the Cockroach party of India. In Goa, the youth are forced to pay lakhs of rupees to get jobs”, he said.
He added: “In contrast, the Goa Forward party is promoting candidates irrespective of caste and creed, with good education background. They have a clear vision to take Goa Forward .This vision comes with education”.
