A day after Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said his government had no intentions to tweak the schedule of the SSC (class 10) and HSSC (Class 12) examinations, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Thursday reiterated that the public examinations will be held in the physical mode as per the earlier announced schedule.

Board Chairman Bhagirath Shetye said the examinations will be conducted with only 12 students per examination hall and all Covid-19 related SOPs and precautions will be strictly followed.

Shetye said the Board has increased the examination sub-centers to ensure 12 students per hall norm.

The Board Chairman also said that ‘isolation centres’ will also be arranged to enable students who have tested positive to answer the examination.
