Silent displacement of Goans in their own State

When it was decided to start the university, it was predicted that all illegal activities would happen and influential people would benefit. Keralites have the tendency to support their people. I experienced it in Sharjah, then in Varanasi, where I was posted.

Now, recently, in the central government housing society plots, it is controlled by a Keralite secretary. He is reluctant to give plots to Goans, and most plots are given to them, with the suggestion to buy at higher rates. I brought this to the notice of the Goan chairman, but he's helpless, agreeing to whatever the secretary says.

Why this attitude? I don't know. Hence, Goans are lagging behind. Ask any Bengali, and he will say one must fight for one's rights. Goans, even after 60 years of liberation, are still not coming out of their susegado shell and accepting whatever is happening. Ridiculous.

The CM should order an investigation, but again, it will likely be an eye-wash.
