Bus shelters at different locations in the state have been installed for the benefit of innocent commuters awaiting to proceed to their respective destinations. However at some of the bus shelters we come across hindrances for commuters while entering these premises. In Ponda such instances have become quite common. At the bus shelter situated near HDFC Bank at Tisk in Ponda, private cars are being often parked close to the entrance area. Similarly two-wheelers have been noticed inside the bus shelter situated near Shree Ganesh temple at Farmagudi. Seen in the picture is another such instance near the circle at Farmagudi (also in Ponda) where in laterite stones have been noticed at the entrance area. The situation turns inconvenient to innocent commuters who ought to enter these premises. During late evening and night the situation turns more dangerous to public at large. Of course, people at large need easy access to these premises on a permanent basis. Let us hope that the concerned authorities would initiate prompt favourable action in this regard and assure easy access for commuters at these premises as and when needed.
