We had our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant declaring Goa Open Defecation Free in 2019, not true even today, and 'Har Ghar Nul and Jal' untrue claims proclaimed even by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat in his election rallies, when many villages have taps but no water and residents of village Dahod shown live on TV having no taps today and having to walk miles to fetch water. Minister Satyendar Jain of AAP is shown in jail getting VIP treatment with many clips on all media, this time getting jail authorities transferred, etc! It is a well known fact that those with money and power when put behind bars when convicted manage maximum furlough and luxuries in jail and criminals even operate their gangs from jail! The reality is equitable justice is absent and with today's powerful executive operating all levers of power, truth is a big casualty! Things that matter are overshadowed and narratives created blowing minor incidents out of proportion.
