Candolim Veterans defeated Nuvem Veterans 2-1 and moved in the quarterfinals of 1st Our Lady of Fatima Sports Club Veterans Cup 2022 organised by Our Lady of Fatima Sports Club, Baida-Chinchinim at Our Lady of Hope Church Ground, Chinchinim.
In the first half, Caetano Xavier of Candolim Veterans scored in the 10th minute.
In the second half, John Mascarenhas equalised for Nuvem Veterans in the 29th minute. Shankar Palekar made it 2-1 for Candolim Veterans in the 36th minute to seal the match.
