Goa Police beat Mumbai Football Academy 5-3 via tiebreaker to clinch the Nayeem, Javeed and Arun Paul Trophy football tournament in the finals of the all-India football tournament organised by Abdul Manan Sait at Nehru Stadium, Bidar, Karnataka.

The second session turned livelier with Goa Police showing urgency and made a couple of moves upfront and broke the deadlock when Bhavesh Candolkar's snap shot crashed into the net. The match however ended in a 1-1 draw. In the tiebreaker, Goa Police had the last laugh.

Goa Police were awarded a prize of Rs 1,00,001 and a trophy. In all, 16 teams participated in the tournament from all over India held from November 17 to 20.
