Nine-a-Side Football Association Goa U-15 boys team claimed second runners-up finish at 9th Sub Junior U-15 Boys Nationals, organised by Nine-a-Side Football Federation of India and hosts Nine-a-Side Tamil Nadu Football Association at Tirupur.
After losing to Telangana 1-0 and winning 1-0 against Puducherry, Goa qualified second in their group for the knock-out stage. After winning their quarter-finals 3-0, Goa lost the semi-finals against West Bengal 1-2 on penalties. However, the State team clinched the second runners-up position with a 2-0 win over Telangana.
