MARGAO: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, cruised into the semifinals of the Bro. Eulalio Vaz Memorial Football Tournament with a convincing 3–0 victory over Ambelim Sports Club in the quarterfinals played at the Don Bosco Ground, Fatorda, on Saturday.
Don Bosco dominated the first half, scoring all three goals before the break. Hanshlum Furtado struck twice in the 14th and 22nd minutes, while Edger Noronha found the net in the 21st minute to complete the rout.
The semifinals are scheduled for November 15 and 17, with Guardian Angel set to face Navelim SC, while Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, will take on Ponda Footballers.
Fr. Leo Pereira, Director of Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, presented the Man of the Match award to Edger Noronha.
