Bhatti SC stormed into the semifinals of the Silver Jubilee Cup 2025 Inter-Ward Football Tournament after a commanding 5-1 victory over Cumborda SC. The tournament is being organized by Sporting Club Virabhat and is taking place at St. Alex Church Ground, Curtorim.
Cumborda SC had an early chance to take the lead, but Valzino Fernandes' shot struck the post and went out of play. Bhatti SC capitalized on the miss, with Tony Dias opening the scoring in the 10th minute. Dias doubled the lead in the 20th minute, giving Bhatti a strong 2-0 advantage by halftime.
In the second half, Bhatti continued their dominance. Ralf Dias netted the third goal in the 35th minute, followed by Tony Dias completing his hat-trick in the 40th minute, extending the lead to 4-0.
Cumborda managed to pull one back through Roy Fernandes in the 45th minute, but Bhatti sealed the emphatic win when Ralf Dias scored his second goal in the 50th minute, ending the match 5-1.
Tony Dias was named Man of the Match, with the award presented by Baptisto Fernandes, a member of Sporting Club Virabhat.
