FC Goa emerged champions of the GFA Third Division Bardez Zone following a 5-0 win over FC Tuem at Duler Stadium, Mapusa.
The match started with attacking intent from both sides but FC Goa didn't take long to break the deadlock through Likson Rebelo in the 15th minute. They then doubled the lead in the first half additional time through Saish Gaonkar.
Crossing over, it was an FC Goa game as they dominated and scored at regular intervals. Saish scored FC Goa's third goal in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, FC Tuem were reduced to 10 men when Roque Borges received marching orders for his second booking. In the 79th minute, Saish completed his hat-trick and scored his fourth in the 87th minute to seal the game for the young Gaurs. Later, Valine Barreto of FC Tuem also received marching orders for a straight red card.
GFA President Dr Caitano Fernandes was the chief guest for the final and gave away the trophy to the champions.
