Guardian Angel SC, Curchorem staged a thrilling comeback to defeat Navelim Sporting Club 2–1 and secure a place in the finals of the 20th Velim Panchayat Cup, organized by SWC Zaino, Velim, at the Velim Church Ground.
Navelim Sporting Club held the upper hand at halftime, leading 1–0 thanks to a goal from Swedon Costa. However, Guardian Angel S.C. turned the match around in the second half with goals from Richard Fernandes and Victorino Fernandes, sealing a hard-fought victory.
Victorino Fernandes was named Man of the Match for his outstanding display, playing a pivotal role in his team’s comeback.
