The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs has announced that selection trials for the Netball U-19 Boys and Girls teams will be held on December 4, 2025, to form the Goa State squads for the 69th National School Games, scheduled in Mangalore from December 25 to 29.
The trials will take place at the GVMS Higher Secondary Ground, Ponda, with reporting time set between 9:30 am and 10:30 am. The session will be supervised by Deepak Gaonkar, APEO (Ponda).
According to the Directorate, the trials will be conducted only for players who report at the venue within the given timeframe.
Eligibility Criteria: Players must be under 19 years, born on or after January 1, 2007. Selected players must submit an Age Verification Test (AVT) certificate along with eligibility forms. Participants should be studying in Std. 12 or below, but not lower than Std. 6. Sports Cards or School ID Cards are mandatory at the time of registration.
The Directorate has urged all eligible student-athletes to participate and make use of the opportunity to represent Goa at the national level.
