Parish Youth Nuvem secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the 17th St. Anthony Festival Cup 2025, defeating Dicarpale SC 2-1 in an exciting encounter held at Moll Ground, Assolda. The tournament is organized by St. Anthony FC, Assolda.
Both teams played an attacking brand of football. Dicarpale’s Nevil Mascarenhas opened the scoring in the 15th minute, giving his side a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Shenoy Colaco equalized for Nuvem in the 40th minute, and Albino Pereira netted the winner in the 55th minute.
Albino Pereira was named Man of the Match and was presented with the award by former international player Victorino Fernandes.
The next match will see United SC Seraulim take on Varca SC at 4:45 PM on Sunday at the same venue.
