Teddy Cardozo and Swezial D'Souza will represent India, Goa at the Galaxi Entertainment Macau International Marathon to be held on December 7 in Macau.
The marathon is being organized by Sports Bureau of Macau SAR Govt. Galaxy entertainment group. Hubert D'Souza Shot put Gold Medalist in the 3rd Lusofonia Games, held in Goa and will accompany as a Manager of the team.
Teddy is representing Goa for the fifth consecutive year. In 2023, Teddy finished in seventh Position. Swezial is participating first time in this event. Both of them will compete in Half Marathon of 21.975km.
The team will leave Goa on December 2 and will return on December 9.
Gurudatta Bhakta Secretary General of GOA, and Jayesh Naik, Treasurer of GOA gave send off to the team, also present were selection committee chairman Dr. Sahadev Mandrekar and Goa Athletics Association secretary Sharendra Naik.
