Someone once said, “It is easy to meet expenses - wherever we go there they are”. And so, the hands of the clock of life does not move without the force of vitamin called money. Nonetheless, every inch of care should be taken to keep one’s cash box and safe locker in an auspicious direction. This will go a long way in either multiplying it or will always remain in the possession of its owner.
The best and auspicious direction to keep one’s cash, jewellery and safe locker is South-West, as it brings stability due to the earth element. The second-best option is the South. Hence all the important documents, savings, cash and jewellery, if any, should be placed in the South-West direction of the house.
Another significant aspect to be noted is that the door of the safe locker or the cupboard door should always open towards North, North-East or East. That means the safe locker should be placed in the South-West or South corner of the house in such a way that while opening it the person should face South, South-West or West so that the safe locker door will open towards North, North-East or East. The opening of the safe locker door should never be towards South-East, South, South-West, West and North-West. Because it can have a negative effect on the flow of money and may facilitate unwanted expenditure and such expenses that may never be recovered. Moreover, there may be no savings at all.
North direction is also the direction of the Lord of Wealth that is Kuber. If due to any unavoidable circumstances it is not possible to keep the cash locker in the South-West or South, then it can also be kept in the North direction. But here also the safe locker door must open towards North, North-East or East direction.
The safe locker should always be clean, organised and clutter-free. Keeping a red cloth and a silver coin of Goddess Laxmi in it is considered very auspicious. It must never be kept empty. Even a single coin can occupy the space. It should not be unstable and should not be moved from one place to another time and again. Keeping a safe locker in front of a toilet, bathroom or kitchen should be avoided. It must never be kept under a staircase or a beam and in the prayer room as well as in the Bhramasthan or centre of the house, because this will create unwanted financial stress in the family as well as in business.
