Perception differs from person to person. Some find it a chic, modern hotel with flavours of being in a Hollywood set up, while others find the well-curated rooms dimly lit. However, all have great experience of food, bar, pool, spa and gym. For visitors and guests, it is a well-kept property for their gateway into this heaven on earth called Goa.

For Fatema Kachwala, the place has all that one could ever wish –great food, good hospitality, lovely location, clean beach and best of services. “It was beyond expectations. The buffet spread is amazing with a variety of extra daily menu added each day. They take extra efforts to keep their guests happy,” says Fatema who has 100 per cent recommendations.

Deepak S who stayed at Planet Hollywood Beach Resort with family for four days, is all praises too. Large pool, pool bar, private beach, spa, lounge bar, nightclub, private garden, games zone, multi-cuisine restaurants and everything one is looking for and expecting when one books a luxury resort for the vacation to make special. It is a holiday gateway for those who want to relax away from everything. “You cannot go wrong if you choose this place to stay,” admits Ishaan Sabharwal.

Overlooking Utorda beach at Acsona waddo in South Goa, the laid-back resort surrounded by greenery is just two km from Majorda beach. Designed by Gauri Khan, the Heart bar, which is at the heart of the lobby makes one feel special. Every seat is meant for a VIP and a huge LED screen at the venue will surely make you feel pampered like a Hollywood star. They offer grilled seafood, choicest cuts of meats and vegetables with Asian stir-fries at ‘Fame’ and PH store offers sundries, souvenirs, Planet Hollywood merchandise and unique Goan collectibles. The Pink Room Spa is for total rejuvenation. First of its brand in Asia and second in the world after Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood is spread on 12 acres of land with 115 rooms and suits, eight room blocks each depicting a unique Hollywood theme, 15 seasonal tents and direct access to Utorda beach.

Planet Hollywood offers a selection of stylish accommodations, including luxury themed rooms and suites each having its own touch of Hollywood memorabilia and richly appointed amenities. The quality of food and beverage is also an important factor to the success of a resort. Everything on the menu is available at the three restaurants – Fame, Planet Dailies and Poseidon’s Cove.

FAME, the hot spot resto-lounge features Western and Asian cuisine overlooking the swimming pool and portico. Its eclectic music and lounge area is a perfect place for evening outing. From delicious Japanese bigiris to Thai curries, sashimis and teppanyakis to bento lunches, the menu is designed to satiate connoisseurs of fine dining, along with a wide selection of wine spanning diverse grape varieties and regions.

The other is Planet Dailies, a lavish and daintily presented buffet featuring International, Far East Asian and Indian. The restaurant also has an a la carte menu featuring fresh garden salads, gourmet sandwiches, wraps and local curries.

Poseidon’s Cove’ beach side grill is the chic new addition. Watch the waves roll in with one of their signature cocktails in hand, or spend a lively evening tucking into platters of their unique Poseidons Plank, Poseidon Roll or Prawn Shumai. They claim to create meals with the freshest ingredients.

Planet Hollywood brings a refreshing change in the concept of family leisure. The facilities, amenities, life-style venues and curated experiences as its hallmark, the landscape, tropical garden and the coconut orchard and the beach frontage make this a perfect destination to unplug and

unwind.
