The hunt is a two day event, which will be flagged off on March 23.
Talking about this initiative, Nikhil Dessai, MD, GTDC, said, “This is the first time that GTDC and HMSI have come together for an event like this. Eminent bloggers and journalists will go to lesser known parts of Goa on this unique product called Honda NAVi.”
Goa already has a culture, where tourists and even locals take their two-wheelers to the winding roads, taking many twists and turns, to reach unexpected destinations. This is exactly what GTDC and HMSI are trying to do.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior VP, sales and marketing, HMSI, said, “Goa is very close to our heart. And, we have been the leading two-wheeler seller in the state for many years now. It’s been a year that NAVi was launched. What better way than to celebrate that in Goa by having Honda NAVi Goa Hunt.”
When asked why HMSI chose NAVi over other bikes in its portfolio for an event like this, Guleria replied, “NAVi is a fine bike preferred by youth. It comes in exciting colours. Besides, it is extremely safe to drive anywhere-- people have even taken it to Leh. Price-wise, it is also within the reach of most customers.”
HMSI has recently launched a variant called ‘NAVi Adventure’ which comes with a range of products for customisation.
Guleria also informed that HMSI has sold close to 1,000 NAVis in Goa since its launch, while it has sold 60,000 such two-wheelers in the country.
