Combat Martial art Karate-Do Association Goa recently participated in fourth All India National Combat Martial-Art Wado-Ryu Karate Championship 2019 held on November 10, 2019 at Bhayandar (E) Thane, Maharashtra.
More than 16 states had participated and among all the states Goa won the term championship with a lead of 81 medals comprising of 28 Gold, 24 Silver, and 29 Bronze medals.
Chief instructor Sensei Suraj Paradkar and other instructors, Sensei Madhukar Ghogale, Sensei Prasad Korgoankar, Sensei Mohammed Shabbir Khan took the lead and achieved it successfully. In Black Belt catagory, Sensei Suraj Parakder won silver medal in Kata and Gold medal in Kumite. Sensei Madhukar Ghogale won Gold medal in Kumite. Sensei Mohammed Shabbir Khan won Gold medal in Kumite. Parsad Korgoankar won gold medal in Kata
Along with the instructors, the students also won a number of medals.
