The Goan Overseas Association New Zealand (GOANZ) will organise a Mando Festival and Goan Cultural and Cuisine Night at St John Vianney Church Hall, Auckland, on July 1.
The event, which will include a number of performances, music and other attractions, will be an occasion for the Goans in New Zealand to come together and connect with each other, while celebrating their Goan identity and culture.
Food stalls will include Goan delicacies for sale. Food will be sold before the performances kick-off.
Ben Fernandez will be the chief guest in the evening. Ben is a pianist, composer and arranger formally trained in Western Classical Music and has performed in over 25 countries. There will also be a Konkani and Portuguese sing-along session.
