PANAJI: It was a proud moment for the Scouts and Guides unit of The Rosary High School as 75 boys and 81 girls of Std 6 joined the movement as Scouts and Guides on 27th September.
Dr Preeti Kaisare, a paediatrician and parent of the school, was the chief guest at the investiture ceremony and handed over the scarves to the students along with other parents.

School Headmistress Alice Joan Goes thanked the parents for attending the ceremony, congratulated the students and welcomed them to a movement of great fun and adventure.
The Scouts and guides were invested by Scout Master Alvito D'Costa and Guide Captain Esperanca Pereira respectively. The investiture was followed by a cultural programme consisting of dance, action song and a skit titled ‘Believe in yourself’.
